Filmed over 5 years, director Anna Hints captures an intimate space where women gather to not just cleanse their bodies, but also their souls. Beautifully visualized, Hints creates an emphatic atmosphere where confessions are shared and women healed by the power of community. The audience is invited into the stream to join in this cathartic and unforgettable experience.

Anna Hints is an Estonian film director with a background in contemporary art and experimental folk music. Anna has deep roots in the distinct culture of South Estonia. Her first feature length film Smoke Sauna Sisterhood premiered at the Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Documentary Competition in January 2023 and received the Directing Award.
